Law's 2012

My awesome mother-in-law took our family photos this year. We were able to go with them to Pine Valley for memorial weekend.
(the place where she was actually struck by lightning. Maybe I will post more on that at a later date.)
We took our photos before we had told anyone we are expecting boy number 3. I have a tradition of chopping my hair off when I am expecting. That is how the people who know us well; find out. I do miss the long red hair though. The color was fun for a change, but I promised L that I would be blonde again once I whacked it off. Anyway, we are so happy to have an other bundle of boy joy, and can't wait to see what the future holds.

Missionary moments

I never knew that going to take a darling little girl's baptism photos would lead to a missionary moment. Sadly, I am not the one who stepped up to the questions, but her brave and amazing mom did. F is a beautiful girl; both inside and out. There is no question that she is a daughter of God. Thank you for allowing me to take these precious photos.

N Brothers

Brothers are always fun to photograph; especially when their personalities are so energetic. Posing comes natural to them, and you always get a real and fun photograph.

Odds and Ends

These are some photos of different every day kind of stuff, not really anything with a; I am going to display on my wall; feeling. The top two are my boys on Easter. The middle two are of some friends at the park. And, the last two are my son; K; posing for a father's day gift.

Collaboration

There is nothing better than a sweet baby photo. Little C's mom and I worked together on creating poses and back drops for this shoot, and I think they turned out very well. There are things I see now; that I would fix in editing, but that comes with practice and time.

Baby bump is out

Sweet A had a rough first month of life, but when she was about 7 weeks old we were able to do her photo shoot. I was going to make the necessary edits to get these photos looking vintage, but my cute cousin never told me which to edit, and my program crashed before I could. The photo on the bottom is one I really want to touch up, crop, and make vintage once my program is running again. The carpet and her mom's toes at the bottom; are less than ideal.

Baby bump

My cousin had such a sweet idea for her husband's father's day gift. We did this photo shoot of her growing family, put it together in a collage, and framed it up very nicely for him. I enjoyed her baby bump picture ideas, and the kids had a blast.

W in the sand

It is amazing the inspiration one can get when taking photos. W's came from dirt and rocks, and mine came from his cute hat and fun personality. Dirt tastes good, right?!

M at Panguitch

I took these beautiful photos of my beautiful little sister a year and a half ago. They were taken at one of my favorite get away spots; Panguitch Lake, UT. I have the most amazing extended family, and my Aunt and Uncle have a great Cabin that we try to visit every year to every other year; up there. I love the way the light caught Megan's hair in the first and last photo.
